I did my first power lifting comp in 1999 and set a record at my first comp. I remember my coach tellinmg me that there was something special about me and that I have a gift of all natural strength and that is rare. I even amazed myself with my incrediable strength and insane lifts. I competed for 3 years and then took a long break to pursue other things like my weight loss. I always dreamed of being up on stage in a bodybuilding show but my weight was standing in the way. As power lifting and bodybuildinmg are two completely different sports. So for 4 years I just focused on loosing weight and following my other dreams. I had a mission and felt when the time was right I would get a sign and would know. So in 2006 I began to go to bodybuilding shows and reading as much as I could about bodybuilding. I was now on my personal journey to sculpt and mold my body like clay into a work of art. I knew my strengths and my weaknesses and through test and trail I learned what worked and what did not. I did it all on my own now and with my faith and drive and determination I knew I could do this. Other things controlled me my whole life with medical problems and my weight and now I wanted to control everything inside and outside of me. I started to see my body change dramatically and loved seeing my muscles grow without any drugs at all. I loved the intensity bodybuilding gave me and finally for once I was in control. This feeling has stayed with me and now I am almost there as my dream of being up on stage will come true. I will compete in 2009 with a body like stone however, still with a heart of gold. enjoy my journey with me, xxxxooo Amber
